We had the pleasure to welcome Professor Tom Tan (SMU Cox School of Business, Dallas) at the TUM Campus Straubing this week for a lecture on creating supportive team environments and engagement retention from the Girl Scouts Cookie Program. He discovered that small troop size, evenly distributed sales among the team members, high adult-to-girl ratio, and age diversity in troops positively impact scout retention. These findings are valuable insights to create supportive team environments in many contexts, like industry and academia. Many thanks Tom for your great talk.
